SendGB Supports the Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG)

Since our establishment as a file transfer service, we have supported social responsibility organizations. Our goal is to allow our users to learn about organizations that contribute to society. In this context, we have supported and continue to support KAÇUV (Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer), LÖSEV (Foundation for Children with Leukemia), Tohum Autism Foundation, TOG (Community Volunteers Foundation), ÇEKÜL, Sen de Gel Association, TİDER (Basic Needs Association), TOÇEV, TEV (Turkish Education Foundation), and Darüşşafaka.

A New Contribution to Social Responsibility

As SendGB, we are taking our social responsibility contribution one step further. In addition to providing support through promotion, we are also making financial contributions. The Community Volunteers Foundation (TOG) implements social responsibility projects in 80 provinces across Turkey, with 133 youth groups, clubs, and communities.

As SendGB, we are excited to make a different kind of contribution to the Community Volunteers Foundation. Starting from October 17th, we will contribute 1 Kuruş (0.01 TRY) to the Community Volunteers Foundation for every transfer operation (file upload) you make. In other words, the more you use SendGB for file transfers, the more the Community Volunteers Foundation will benefit.

How Will the Community Volunteers Foundation Benefit?

  • Between October 17 and December 31, 2019, a donation of 1 Kuruş will be made on behalf of SendGB for every file upload made only from Turkey on SendGB.
  • Unique file uploads will be counted daily. Multiple operations from the same IP within a day will be counted as a single operation.
  • The more file upload operations performed by different people on SendGB, the more contribution will be made to the Community Volunteers Foundation.
  • To contribute, it is sufficient to perform a file upload operation. The file size does not matter.
  • File download operations will not be counted for donations.
  • File uploads made from outside Turkey will not be counted.
  • Since SendGB has a spam filter, malicious upload operations are cancelled. Spam-featured uploads will not be counted.
  • SendGB cannot guarantee the number of uploads or the donation amount within the scope of the support project.

SendGB.com is a service that provides file transfer up to 5GB. The service operates in 13 languages and has users from many countries around the world. There are no limits on file uploads and downloads, and files can be stored for up to 90 days. SendGB has supported many social responsibility organizations to date and continues to do so.

About the Community Volunteers Foundation

Community Volunteer youth implement social responsibility projects led by young people and guided by adults, in line with the principles of Respect for Differences, Transparency and Accountability, Local Participation, Teamwork, Lifelong Learning, and Entrepreneurship. Founded on December 29, 2002, the foundation operates on the basis of volunteerism. Their goals include implementing various social service projects led by young people and guided by adults, ensuring the participation, guidance, and support of adult volunteers who believe in the synergy that young people can create and are willing to invest materially and morally in a social cause, contributing to the formation of a self-confident, entrepreneurial, and sensitive youth that can produce solutions to problems around them, and creating awareness about social responsibility in society. Using the slogan "Not to criticize, but to change," the foundation states that they work to transform the energy of youth into social benefit; they have defined their target audience as young people between the ages of 17-25.
