We may collect the following types of data:- Account Information: Name, email address, password, (optional) company name, postal address, city, country, zip code, (optional) EU VAT number.
- Transfer Information: Sender and recipient email address, file names, sizes, types, transfer message, transfer time, linked IP address.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser/version, device/OS, language, localization, referrer, session logs, cookie data.
- Payment Information: Managed by Stripe or PayPal for paid accounts; no full payment details are stored by SendGB.
- Usage Logs: Website interaction logs, activity timestamps.

- Automatically: Via logs and cookies when using our services
- To provide, secure, and improve our services

4. Data Storage, Encryption, Location & Retention
File Storage- User files transferred via SendGB are stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure in up to six (6) different geographic regions worldwide.
- All files are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
- Files are accessible only for the period set by the user, with a maximum storage duration of 365 days. After this period (or upon sender’s request), files are automatically and permanently deleted from all Cloudflare storage locations.
- The geographic distribution of storage means your files may be replicated across Cloudflare data centers in multiple continents, ensuring fast and reliable delivery regardless of your or your recipient’s location.
- Scaleway is used solely for application/server management and database operations supporting SendGB. User-transferred files are not stored on Scaleway.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Oracle are used exclusively for sending notification and transfer emails.
- Uploaded files: Permanently deleted after the selected expiry (maximum 365 days) or upon user deletion.
- Account/activity data: Retained for up to 36 months after your last activity or account deletion unless otherwise required by law.
- System logs: Retained as required for platform security, technical operations, and legal compliance.

- Stripe, PayPal (paying users only; payment processing)
- AWS/Oracle (only for transactional e-mail delivery services)
- Legal authorities when required by law

- SSL/TLS encryption for all communications (in transit)
- Strict access controls and auditing on all infrastructure

- Due to Cloudflare’s global infrastructure, user files may be stored or transmitted via servers located across multiple countries and continents, potentially outside the EEA.
